I Think, Video, I Exist
Original title: Penso, Vídeo ExistoJuxtaposing film and television repertoires, the film shows stereotyped characters who walk and never reach any destination, since they are all tied to the same vision.
A video art piece shot on MiniDV in 2008, while Rudolfo Auffinger was studying film in Curitiba, Penso, Vídeo Existo is the first sequence of a longer script written for an editing class and fed by references such as Philippe Dubois, Nam June Paik and Fluxus.
It was Rudolfo’s first film selected for a festival: the 7th National University Film and Video Showcase at NÓIA – Brazilian University Audiovisual Festival, in Fortaleza, in November 2008, where it competed in the experimental category. In 2009 it screened at the 14th Brazilian University Film Festival, in Rio de Janeiro.
